Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Freelance Graphic Designers who will be willing to create print designs on an on-call basis depending on incoming projects or client orders.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts or equivalent.
Excellent skill in using Adobe CS4 Package: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat PRO.
Hardworking and dedicated in achieving the best quality standards.
Good English communication skills—as you will be working with an international team you must be able to take instructions and specifications well.
With an artistic and creative portfolio to back up your resume.
Must be able to work without supervision.
Should be available at any given time.

Must have personal computer installed with Adobe CS4 Package, good internet connection and Skype account and software.

The Junior Research and Innovations Officer will work primarily with the Poverty Action Center (PAC), a program under the Research and Innovations Unit, to successfully implement the activities that will result to the strengthening of the outreach of pro-poor microfinance institutions. He/she will also conduct research relevant to the needs of the microfinance sector and help in disseminating new technical materials on microfinance innovations.

1.Identify and establish data base of pro-poor microfinance institutions (MFIs) operating in different regions of the Philippines;
2. Provide support in the implementation of PAC activities such as regional meetings/workshops, trainings, publication of newsletter and the conduct of case studies;
3. Facilitate resource mobilization for MFIs from potential donors, or investors for technical assistance, capacity building and/or re-lending fund; provide guidance to MFIs’ preparation of proposals if needed;
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports;
5. Participate in the conduct of research studies (gathering of secondary data, field interviews, focus group discussions);
6. Assist in the preparation of research reports and presentations of results;
7. Coordinate with other units of MICRA for any support or assistance that might be needed for the successful completion of assigned task;
8. Maintain good relationship with client MFIs and other stakeholders of the microfinance sector;
9. Disseminate information to co-staff relevant to the fulfilment or improvement of their output;
